Below you will find an overview of the online claim notification forms for reporting your claim and the insurance policy components. To ensure that you can complete and send the claim notification as quickly and accurately as possible, we advise you to have all the documents, receipts and any photos concerning the claim ready.
Report your claim to us easily online. To do so, click on the appropriate field to submit your claim to us. To provide notification of a claim under the deductible guarantee and key protection insurance, please send the completed form and your documents by e-mail to schaden@erv.ch.
Any notification of a claim must be accompanied by proof (credit- / prepaid card statement or e-finance statement). It must be proven that at least 51% of the purchase price / the original service was paid with the card.

Insured benefits |
The decision as to the necessity, nature and timing of benefits will be taken by ERV's doctors. The insurance covers the costs of any necessary search and rescue operations, transportation to the nearest hospital, local accommodation and subsistence, return transportation to a hospital at the place of residence, an unscheduled return journey, temporary return to the place of residence, additional costs for the continuation of the trip, pro-rated costs of the unused travel arrangement, travel expenses and official formalities. |

Insured benefits |
The insurance covers the costs of outpatient or inpatient treatment in a general ward of a hospital subsequent to the application of the statutory Swiss social insurance schemes (HIA, AIA) and taking into account any other supplementary insurance cover. The assumption of costs also applies to the hire, replacement or repair of medical aids such as prostheses, glasses and hearing aids as well as necessary rescue and transport costs to the nearest hospital. |

All items which the insured persons take on the trip for personal use are insured. Insurance cover for sports equipment, wheelchairs and buggies applies exclusively during conveyance by public transport, and for as long as these items are in the care of a transport company. |

Insured events |
In the event of the death of the insured person as a result of an accident, the legal heirs will receive the agreed sum specified in the overview table. The insured person must notify ERV in writing of any deviations to these benefits.
In the event of a disability resulting from an insured accident which is medically diagnosed within five years of the accident and assessed to be 100%, the insurance company pays the agreed capital benefit. In the event of partial disability, a corresponding percentage of the capital benefit is paid out. |

Insured events |
Events in connection with a trip that the customer has predominantly paid for using the credit/prepaid card are insured. This includes cases where the customer is the driver of a rented motor vehicle or watercraft, a participant in sport, a pedestrian, a cyclist, a moped rider or a passenger on a means of transport, the tenant of a holiday home, a hotel guest, a party to a travel agreement, the victim of a violent crime or the consignor of luggage. |
