If the guests of the holiday apartment have to cancel before arrival or have to leave early, we will cover the cancellation costs at the amount of the rental.

• Unforeseeable illness (including COVID-19), serious injury, serious pregnancy complication or death of an insured person, of a person travelling with the insured person, of a person not travelling with but close to the insured person, of a direct deputy at the place of work with the result that the presence of the insured person is essential.
• Strikes on the planned travel route outside Switzerland as well as unrest of any kind, natural hazards which endanger the life and property of the insured person.
• Individual quarantine due to COVID-19, ordered by a public authority.
• Severe damage to the property of the insured person at his/her home with the result that his/her presence is indispensable, as a result of fire, natural hazards, theft or water damage.
• Breakdown or delay – due to a technical defect or an accident involving people – of the means of transport needed to reach the travel destination.
