The cost of event tickets is covered in the following cases, for example:*
- If you unexpectedly fall ill or suffer an injury.
- If a very close friend or relative dies.
- If you are pregnant and the event takes place after the 24th week of pregnancy, or if the event poses a risk to the unborn child.
- If you need to stay at home because your personal property there has been stolen or damaged by natural hazards, fire or water.
- If the public transport you are using is cancelled or delayed due to a technical defect or an accident involving a person.
- If the private vehicle or taxi you are using for your journey breaks down.

If the time or location of the event is changed, the costs will be covered if you are unable to attend for one of the following reasons:
- An official summons to appear in court as a witness or juror
- Military and civil protection service
- A holiday that was already booked
- A business commitment
